Spray it into the lid and apply with a small brush.
I have a new tin of ACF50 on the shelf, but am still using Tectyl 506 - (Valvoline).

+1 for ACF 50.
Used it on bikes for years.
BIG plus, as far as Morgans are concerned, is that it is intended for use on aluminum bodies particularly to stop galvanic corrosion where aluminium joins steel.

If I had a new Morgan I'd spray all the underside, engine block, in fact everywhere that isn't paint or leather before using it on the road!

On my 4 year old Roadster the area under the spare wheel looks a prime candidate. Also the engine and that general area, the block is already suffering from surface corrosion, not a problem but looks scruffy.

Have you got the clear underseal on your Roadster Peter? I have and am wondering what Morgan used at the time.

No, mine is black tacky stuff!

But there is quite a bit non standard about mine that reflects the fact that it was owned by MMC from first registration in September 09 until Jayne took ownership in 2011.

When was yours registered?

Mine was registered 1st May 2009. Seems strange seeing bare plywood in the rear wheel arches and galvanised chassis! Its got a pale gold tacky waxy covering to it unlike the black Dinitrol that the factory used on my 2010 car.

I parked mine next to Jayne's in the factory carpark and hers seemed narrower at the front than mine but somehow wider at the back. It looked neater than mine. I think she was as mystified as I was how it could be narrower....

Indeed, purchased it from Williams.
Jayne's car has moved down south....now lives near Salisbury. I hope it settles OK South of the M4!
