Read the latest update from Morgan Cars Australia and it looks like there might be a final decision on local compliance before year's end, here's hoping the bureaucrats thinking give the 3 Wheeler the thumbs up thumbs and we will see them on Aussie roads in 2014 drive

It will be good to see the development vehicle at Motorclassica. If you happen to be in Melbourne in late October it's a fantastic event and well worth a visit - went for the first time last year and there were some fantastic cars on display.

I have to admit I*m a bit curious to these two points:

  • Different steering column
  • Different steering wheel

I suspect a steering wheel that is not fitted with a quick release - not even the "longer locking bolt" used elsewhere, as well as one with an airbag.

The steering column? Perhaps something that buckles easier or something?

I suspect they will be over the top expensive, seeing as how they had to crash test three of them.

Thanks for the update - not the news locals were hoping for after the previous positive messaging....but still looks optimistic (albeit with a price rise!)
