When I was a yoof,(let's say 1973/4) an associate & his dad dabbled in Mk2 Jags. Most were well rotten, but I remember one in dark blue, the paint was totally crazed all over, but the interior was absolutely mint, with plastic covers (remember them?) still on door panels and rear seat . He had it painted, and it looked a jewel. He sold it for a fortune (in 1970's money). May have got £2,000 - don't remember now what they were fetching but he had a couple of rotten E types for £1,500 each at the time.
