with regards to the brakes. The brakes of the 2010 Roadster Sport are so so, quite working but without a defined point. The P4SS brakes are awesome in terms of feel and efficiency. Sorry I don't know which make and type on both of the cars.

I agree with your comments re the roller throttle pedal Dave.....I've an organ pedal on order from Uncle Melvyn!

I find the roller accelerator pedal acceptable, but then I haven't driven one with an (M)organ pedal.
I have the standard 4-pot calipers and non ventilated discs on my 2005 4/4, which with the original setup were ok with reasonable feel (quite hard) and good stopping power though quite easy to lock up the rear. I have just had cross head stays (brake reaction bars), s/s braided hoses, and green stuff pads fitted, plus a brake fluid change, not a lot of cost and a really significant improvement in feel and very progressive, as well as improving the front/rear balance. I don't know the provenance of the calipers but the EBC catalogue lists the pads as "Austin Princess"...?!!! Don't see many of those around!
BTW for Aldermog, "Uncle Melvyn" = Melvyn Rutter, dealer with a large online parts shop.

I personnally like the roller pedal, all part of making my Morgan different to the daily drive.

I always used EBC HH pads and high quality braided stainless brake hoses on my various bikes, a highly recommended combination. So possibly the way to go.
I'm sort of surprised that the cross head stays make so much difference, but I'm learning to be surprised about nothing when it comes to the Morgan world....
I'll talk to Williams about fitting the stays when I go up on Monday.

TBH I can't really say how much the cross head stays contributed to the perceived improvement, but they are a very low cost item indeed compared to most "upgrades"...!

When you look at the design of the cross head you can see how the top may flex under heavy braking. The stays are a simple and cheap mod and must give some additional support. They are on my list of things to do....along with a Panhard rod.
