I am currently up in the Lakes on Morgans at Windermere and done about400 miles plus getting there.
Prior to leaving Scarlett had a good greasing/chain lubeon lefa springs and ACF50 on the inter-panel piping/underside areas.
The majority of squeaks a d creaks have gone.
The only issues are wind noise but swmbo has banned eggs for breakfast so that should go as well!
I was at the Williams/Autofiness day and the guys at Williams stressed the need to oil the body piping and it has worked.
I previously used a thin oil but that ACF is better in my opinion,CAREFULLY sprayed with cloth protection.

Say hello to Philip and Janet......Montezuma who is no more! I was going to join them but left it too late to book on the event. A shame as my sister is just down the road from the Crooklands.

Hi Gambalunga - wish I could but I need to feed the fleet. '75 S3' '76 LeMans, '79 Cali, Stelvio and my bespoke Cafe Racer - you may have seen her in MCN retro mag.
I've noted your contributions - strange how the Guzzi/Mog combination seems to work...

Paul F - I'm in a village near Bingham, not seen too many Mogs whilst tearing around the Vale of Belvoir in my M3W.
Let me know of any local meets and I'll try to get along - as soon as I get a roof and a heater....

Nice collection JP. I so nearly got into Guzzis...ended up restoring Moto Morinis instead. Ridden a few though including all the current models and have been tempted to replace my R1200GS with a Stelvio. I've had several GS's so a change is due.

Jay, as I always say to my pals when travelling through Europe, check that the GS you get on is yours.....
As good as they are, ubiquitous is the word. I'll stick with my slightly inferior Stelvio....

'79, Cali or Cali II?
Just curious, always fancied one, but gave up 2 wheels nearly 4 years ago after nigh on 35 years...

Cheers,

I had a V11 for a few years; great fun and I wish I had been able to keep it; but trying to get spare parts was a nightmare.
It made a lovely noise and felt like it would pull a caravan!

JP - we are in Costock (A60 between Loughborough and Nottingham). DonMog meet at The Plough in Normanton on Soar on the third Wednesday of the month (I will be missing the September meeting) and we have a car trial on 21st September near Gotham (starting at 2pm, picnic from 12:30).

We have not made it into the Vale of Belvoir very much this year - too many family commitments - but those are excellent Morgan roads.

When do you get the Roadster?
