I'm personally leaning more towards the Adriatica because it has rounded corners as the rest of the M3W instruments.

And both the modern ones have a stopwatch that can do more than the hour of the MIG clocks - the Adriatica can do ten hours, the Benz-Micro a full 12 hours. I'm thinking that that might actually be a nice feature of keeping track of how many hours you have driven non-stop or almost non-stop.

I believe the Adriatica is 60mm from edge to edge, but how does that compares to the size of the start button frame? If it matches, you could perhaps move the start button up and place the watch below it (below, because it has buttons at the top). If that's not feasible, it would still look the best if it was sort of the same size.

Anyone know what the exact width of the start button frame is?

I've currently got one of those (with the chrome bezel) fitted to my 4/4. They are quite nicely made and the holding case surface mounts with a small screw...you could use double sided tape if you didn't want to drill.

Perhaps a bit too classic for the M3W though?

I'd agree with Jay's nice clocks but not right for the M3W (in my view only....)

Is your tax disc hid underneath the new clock now? What's it's new location?

Tax disc now on front of car existing bolt and just bent the stainless lug to face fore and aft.

Aha, mine too, I used a small right angle bracket and mounted it on one of the infamous rubber cotton reels holding the rectifier on. I've already replace two of them and one on a silencer so far.

I've just changed my speedo and rev counter around, so that I can actually see the rev counter easily, the speedo of course being hidden by my left hand now. An easy enough job.

I wanted to move the horn switch out from under the wheel, but couldn't pull off the black fronted ali. piece with the logos on, has anybody done this yet? I assumed it would pull off the front of the rocker switches, but the holes are too small. I'm wondering if they unscrew or something?

If you can't be bothered to move your horn switch , dangling a length of leather off it makes it very easy to use smile

No. It's not a point of not being bothered, I am extremely bothered, I just can't get the switch out to put it on the other side, which would make it easier to use. Great minds obviously, I actually hang a little case with my ear plugs on the horn, to help identify it quickly.
