I wouldn't bin them, I'd Ebay them and let someone else make that decision. Harsh, but realistic. After all, they are probably still safer than some bald, treadless rubber that they may replace.

According to 'The Bible' gthey still have 10 weeks left

If I interpretated it correctly, those tyres were produced on the 22nd week in 2002, thats six years old, a chance that it might still be safe. But I wouldn't want to sell it on, knowing the tyres have passed its sell by date.
I certainly do not wish to find out the buyer had crashed because of the tyres.
