I am sure you have talked about that but I have not read any topic.
When you read the miscellany mag or Mog Mag, you only can see people older than 50', that means only people older than 50' have a Classic Morgan
Do you think is that true?
If it is true, why?
May be because the high cost of the car, and you only have money enough when you are older.h
May be because the classics Morgan are only atractive for older people?
May be because when you are young you have small children and you can't use the car with the family, and when they grow you can use the car with your couple that then is all your family At home.
By the way I am 46 and I love the Morgans.
What do you think?

Cost of insurance and cars. I brought my first plus 8 went I was 24 for £3000.

Well,here in Germany most youngsters are more interested in Top speed etc.,they would rather spend their money on some 260 HP hot hatch then on a Morgan.They just don't understand why someone would buy a car that's rather expensive,won't do 155 MPH,and is, to them, extremely oldfashioned. Thank goodness,not all of them are equal,at least one of my young co-workers would prefer the classic Morgan,if he could afford one

I brought mine at 34....I guess however time and money (both probably family factors) are key however...

Practicality, cost and peer pressure I suspect are the main reasons. However my godson who is 22 years old said he wanted one after a ride in Rosie. But I am not sure if it came to it he would buy one.

I nearly bought my first one at age 22. Instead I ended up with an MGB... Things could have been so different

It may also be that potential new owners are not ready to accept the antiquated maintenance regime (front suspension) that comes with Morgan ownership.
Good point Mike, As service intervals on "modern" cars tend to get longer and longer,most people don't understand what regular greasing's neccessary for..

mechanically minded youngster are a bit thin on the ground these days, so not sure many would understand the issues.
