Really? All that, and that is the reason for your posts? Look, noone is doubting the smiles-per-mile ratio, but six weeks back at the shop (two times) within the first few thousand miles, is perfectly fine because it puts a smile on your face when you do have it, and it's working? Excellent, we have now come full circle with people arguing that anything is acceptable because when it does work, it puts a smile on one's face. I suppose i should be sorry if my post was inadequate in your opinion. But i am not. It was only meant to try and explain the reasons for variation in levels of whine and a bit of my experience of the issue. Your responses seem unnecessarily aggressive to me. Personally i am not interested in protracted semantic and personal arguments, i am interested in knowledge shared that improves my experience in owning and running my 3 wheeler and helping other people to enjoy theirs.

And we have also heard enough of excuses like"It's all alright, any problem is not a problem, because it looks retro and puts a smile on my face", as well as the "Don't post your problems," and "don't modify anything" whenever someone has a problem or wants to make something better.
In other words, you may be tired of reading the arguments, but I can assure you I'm at least as tired of reading the blinkered fanboyism oozing from so many apologists on here.
AQM, do you own a Morgan? Yes. But I fail to see the relevence, to be honest. Even if I didn't, that wouldn't make it okay to attempt to stop people from posting their problems, or try to gloss over problems to the extent that some people would prefer if only positive things were said, and any problem ignored. I am countering the idiocy that is the attempt to stop anyone from posting anything but positive thoughts and questions, to counter the just as idiotic "Don't post about modifications", and if you do any sort of modification to make it better, you're either "trying to make it into a GT car", or "trying to make it into an SLK". It doesn't matter of the topic was something else than Morgan vehicles, it's the ignorant reasoning I'm countering, which most people ought to have caught up after I have countered this ad nauseum. Yet, it seems that whenever someone realises their arguments is shyte, someone else comes along with a similarly ignorant pseudoargument, asking once again why I don't buy the stupid argumentation. This is one of those times. It doesn't matter one iota whether or not I own a Morgan. That has no bearing on why it's horrendously stupid to suggest that people on a forum should keep their mouths shut if they have problem, and that it doesn't matter what problems there are, since when the thing works, it gives you a lot of joy. Or, the equally stupid one of trying to claim that because the 3W is retro in the style department, therefore we should expect and accept no more than vintage quality, and in the case of bumpsteer, even expect and accept something that is worse than the vintage equivalent.

Yes, and as I have already explained, it all boils down to: Accept any shortcoming, don't post about problems, all because it gives me, personal joy. Your responses seem unnecessarily aggressive to me. Yes, I'm sorry, but I do get testy after a while when people continuously try to argue that other people should keep their mouths shut because they themselves don't see any problems whatsoever, and that no problems is big enough to even partially counter the smiles-per-mile ratio - even if that includes six weeks back at the factory, failing this or that, introduced bumpsteer or anything else. And since they don't see anything as a problem, other people should just shut up. Personally i am not interested in protracted semantic and personal arguments, i am interested in knowledge shared that improves my experience in owning and running my 3 wheeler and helping other people to enjoy theirs. That's funny, considering your previous argumentation, which boiled down to "My car had to go back at the factory twice (a total of six weeks), but since I don't see that as a problem, other people shouldn't post about their problems, regardless of what they are".

The relevance is simply that first hand experience, over an extended period of time, is the best measure of a product. Would you disagree with that? Thus, I was wondering if you were commenting as an owner with a first hand appreciation of the topic being discussed. I won't reply to the rest of your post because it seems exceedingly angry and unnecessarily antagonistic.

Sorry can we try to keep to words with less than four syllables. Some of us went to a comprehensive school.
I did put three but I think comprehensives got four.

Hi Wiscos I too had a 997 Carera 4, and found it boring and insular unless you were doing well into 3 figures. Who drives at 100mph+. So the M3W ticks all the boxes the Porsche could never do.

I addressed this in the post.As expected, you still fail to realise, that it doesn't matter if my vehicle has a particular problem, as I'm not arguing whether or not a problem exist. I'm arguing against the attempt to shut people up that have anything negative to share, problems to be solved, or sharing their modification, and argue for stifling any discussion apart from the colour-questions, the "we went on a trip, and everything was fine" and so on. This ought to be clear by now, but apparently one after another fail to recognise that, even after it has been explained to them several times over. And, as I said: I fail to see the relevance, since it doesn't matter if I'm an owner or not. I don't need to own the same car as someone with a fourwheeler modifying their suspension to argue against idiots trying to argue that he should have bought an SLK instead of modifying his Morgan. But as I have seen with so many others over the course of the past few days, when their argumentation is shown to be faulty, they will cry foul for one reason or another. Case in point: I won't reply to the rest of your post because it seems exceedingly angry and unnecessarily antagonistic.
