Just a quick query,my dashboard light in my 2011 4/4 that tells me the heater fan is on has just stopped working, heater and fan are fine.

I assume then its not a fuse but the bulb which means pulling off the under dash panel to
Replace it??

Any thoughts please

Jeff

Hi Jeff

A thought... I’m not familiar with the 2011 dash but if Morgan were still using the round push button “EAO” 71 series switches assemblies, then the good news is the bulb (or led) can probably be removed from the front. The bad news is you need a special tool to remove the switch lens. However it is inexpensive and quite easy to get hold of at least in the UK.

Manufactures data: http://www.eao.com/global/en/Catalogues/...1-Full-Data.pdf

Also picture of the removal tool here http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/141346/1

Funny my 2011 4/4 has not got a light in the fan rotary switch nor the rotary heat selector. But hAs a light in the on/off windscreen heater. So should their be a light in the rotary switches ? It would be useful as can't see them in the dark thAt we'll

I'm not aware that there is a warning light for the heater fan...I assume you are talking about one of the lights in the bottom row of warning lights?

Sorry - only just seen your post. This confused me on my Roadster: it's not a "heater fan on light" ... it's an "air conditioning on light". In highly-sophisticated Morgan fashion, the spare push switch on the dash (used for aircon - where fitted) is linked into the fan switch - so that it lights up when the switch is pressed in and the fan is operating.

I thought my "fan warning light" had stopped functioning too - but one quick press of that switch, and there it was again happy3 My guess is that you have the same issue. So before you strip the dash - apply the number one digit to the snowflake rofl
