Just had my order confirmed - build week 48 and delivery mid Dec If I've decoded the VIN correctly mine will be the 2,017th!

I didn't think they'd made that many already. Unless my understanding is wrong, I thought the sequence numbers were just that and as mine is 0795 from June this year, we should be up to perhaps 1000 by now and perhaps 1200 by the end of the year.
If it really is over 2,000, then that's a lot more than I realised. And there was me thinking that this was a rare (and residual friendly in the traditional Morgan sense) motor car....!

I might not be understanding the VIN correctly. my last 4 digits are 2017 which I thought was the same as the number built.
Anyway, I can't wait until Dec

Just had a look at mine Chris, it's a year old and last 4 digits are 2213 so that first 2 must refer to something else ! My chassis number is 334 so its all a bit confusing, also have 0268 stamped on the wooden frame. ... Anyway not long to wait now

I believe that the Chassis No's and Ash Frame Serial No's run independently, which is why the number stamped under the drivers or passenger seat squab (in my case 0729) is typically different to the number stamped into the Ash frame under the boot liner (which for me is 0795). I am told that this is due to some frames failing QC later in the process (after number stamping) and ending up on the Malvern Link bonfire...

The method build of the Three Wheelers is very different to that of the Traditional cars so it's not surprising that the numbers do not match up.
