On the front grille, where the vertical slats are attached at the top, is that cross piece on your car polished or painted black?
It seems to vary.
Just interested.
Stanley's is painted matt black, so barely visible when viewed from the front.

Mine is part painted black - some of the paint has flaked off the chrome...

This is reminiscent of counting bonnet slats  Rosie's were shiny but I panted black.

So the usual Morgan mix then!
I have to admit that I feel that it looks better painted black, as then it appears that the vertical slats of the grille "flow" into the line of the front cowl without interruption.
But each to their own.
