My Oct 2012 car brakes straight and true, just in case anyone was wondering if this is an endemic problem.
The brakes are actually rather good and the pedal feel is great.
Sorry if you're having problems and perhaps it's a batch of calipers? Is there an approx. manufacturing date that links these problems, I wonder?

And now for something completely different : Both front calipers replaced at one thousand mile service. Powder coat on both was peeling, but they worked fine.

I'm not happy.
My brakes still aren't fixed. Apparently it still pulls to the right, but not as bad as it did. I refused to take it back until its properly sorted and missed another good Sunday for a ride out...
I've now owned my M3W for 13 weeks. Its spent 4 of those weeks at the dealers. Ok, it spent a few days there having its first service (and some minor(ish) faults fixed), but it's also suffered bevel box disintegration (on the first full day of ownership), an engine oil leak requiring a replacement head gasket and now a seemingly impossible to fix brake problem.
I've got very used to seeing an empty space in the garage where the M3W should be parked up.....its as if I don't really own the car at all, and I'm reaching the point where I'm beginning to wish I didn't!
I bought the M3W for fun and some adventure. I wasn't expecting 100% reliability, but I now feel that I have made a really BIG mistake. If I could turn the clock back I probably would....
I feel its time to express my frustration to the factory, but who should I contact? Who might show some "Customer Care"?
Your suggestions please

I bought the M3W for fun and some adventure. I wasn't expecting 100% reliability, but I now feel that I have made a really BIG mistake. If I could turn the clock back I probably would.... One of the things that attracted me to the M3W was its simplicity. I figured that a car with few moving parts and electrical doodads would mean more reliability, but browsing the forums has nearly scared me off since I don't live close enough to a Morgan dealer who can assist me with these issues if they arise. Bevel Box failureOil Leak from Rocker Cover GasketsCrank Pulley failureExhaust Fracture Fuel LeakRear Sprocket Replacement Bell Housing failureRegulator/Rectifier failureI realize that any vehicle from any manufacturer will have mechanical issues occasionally, so I don't believe this is indicative of a trend with all 3 wheelers, but it does concern me that I don't have a Morgan mechanic nearby to assist. WarBird, I wish you luck with getting your M3W sorted out.

Warbird.....go to the top. Write to Steve Morris, the MD. He should be made aware of such a run of problems you have in such a new car.

My car is currently with the dealer, hopefully getting a new bevel box, but after a week, they are still waiting for the go ahead from Morgan. I told them about the brake problem and they have changed the pads side to side. It is maybe because I haven't been using them hard enough, I know this can be a problem as they don't bed in properly. They thought it had cured the problem, as long as I had two hands on the wheel, but it still pulled to the right when taking hands off! Yep, that is exactly what it was doing before I took it in. Anyway, I'll wait until I get it back before I comment further.
I can't go and look at the car, but wondered if the brake pipe to the right front was shorter than the to the left front? This could affect the braking balance? Without 2 wheels at the back to stabilise things, even a small difference in pressure at the caliper might make a difference? Just a thought.

Just curious: is it a one or two circuits system? Master cylinders in systems with two circuits CAN cause problems in rare cases.
