Whilst it was lose and in your hand, did you happen to notice the design of the baffles in the main silencer part of the exhaust? Is it a simple absorption type (ie: straight through with holes into the outer padding), or a fully baffled type? I know the stock pipes have 2 welded in circular discs-with-holes in the end pipes, but I just wondered about the main silencer section.

Hopefully you get this sorted soon too!

It rattles for a while & then breaks off?or a quick snap?a october 2013 build,have then sorted the problem?

I am going to slot the mounting brackets on the exhaust. Then fit PTFE penny washers either side with a nylock nut tightened just enough to allow a little front to back movement.

I never looked inside the exhaust for baffles.

It became noticeably noisier on that side but I could see no damage, then a hundred metres and it was sheared.
