Great set of pics RINGA = enjoyed all those - and it looks as if everyone there enjoyed the "Hoon" (good word that!!) laugh2

Having driven cars with both types of Gear Lever position IHMO the "forward" position wins hands down! scared

I have to agree. The forward position is a much more natural place for the hand to drop to, it also makes using the handbrake easier, for those urban crawls, [or handbrake turns of course]. The fact that the passenger no longer gets elbowed in the ribs is a happy coincidence.

Hi Paul
You bet me to it.
They used to build the VHPD and 135 Sport engines for the Lotus Elise Mk1as well.

I have only driven our new forward position but I can't imagine it could be any better. Falls right to hand.

Squirlz,

Lovely wheel, much better suited to the car than the standard.

Could you let me know the make?
