Mmmm not at all sure about the Ceramic Coat idea.We bought a new BMW this year and in the excitement of it all were talked into it - £400 by the way. Feeling unsure afterwards I checked it out....turns out that most Valeters will do the same for a fraction of the cost...theres a surprise.And the BMW cost is mainly sales commission!!
So it may well have merits - and the Beemer does look good (so it should) BUT try the alternative providers!!
IMHO the M3W paint is excellent quality/top finish anyway!!
I talked to my dealer today and he told me mine is done and should be shipped to the states sometime late next week. The perfect Christmas gift! My build week was 48 so it is early. Can't wait.
My wife and I flew up to Denver two days ago to retrieve our finally complete M3W from Colorado Morgan, and drove home to Albuquerque through the Rocky Mountains via hwy 285. What a great trip in a wonderful little cycle car! We are so excited to own it and have zero regrets with the paint choice. She's home now settling in to her new spot in the garage, just in time for the snow to start falling here in the SW, ( the nice thing about the American SW is the snow will be gone and warm sun will be back out with in a few days).
A few notes of comparison to my Father in laws M3W; the bevel box IS much quieter, the forward stick, in my opinion, is wonderful, the rectifier is indeed vibrationally isolated off the frame and the bump steer is still there, but SO not worth all the fuss.

That's just what I thought when I first got my car, but the more I drove it the more it irritated me. You know how, sometimes, little things either fade away with familiarity or just annoy more and more? [I'd better not let my wife see that last sentence, otherwise she will have a few words to say about my annoying habits I'm sure!]
