My 2002 S1 suffers from an intermittent rustling sound from around the steering column shroud or facia above it.It particularly appears in cold weather, on any road that is less than perfectly surfaced.I have tried grease between the shroud and the facia to no avail. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Mine is a 2002 S1 as well, but I've had no such issue. Could just be something loose / rubbing? Best bet if to get the dealer to whip the facia off at next service - probably just a simple loose wire / piece of tape etc.

Definitely not my 7 iron, I used it this morning at the Orchard with my normal aplomb. I am sure you will enjoy the run to the noggin with your head buried under the Aero’s facia for 20 miles!

Leaf stuck somewhere in the ventilation system? Woodworm? Check they used Cuprinol on the frame during the build...
