I liked the Eva, the mock up was at MMC when I was collecting a new 4/4 three years ago - though I couldn't quite see how the rear passengers would fit

Through the rear hatch? So long as the children were small...

I recall Charles Morgan announcing it would sell for £40,000 and then revising that figure to £80,000 at Pebble Beach. Based on these finger in the air figures I felt it was a non-stater from the beginning. As a company Morgan should dream and develop the product but they do not have the budget for radical departures into such well trodden market segments. If people are upset about the failings of the M3W, imagine the debacle a poorly developed GT 2+2 would have created?

I thought this might be a bit over-ambitious, especially the price when it was first announced. I think it is a good sign that the management are getting things in hand. It does indicate how Charles may have driven things in a slightly ready-fire-aim manner sometimes.
Rather than castigate them for not being able to engineer things to a right level I would prefer to look on it as doing amazing things with precious little resources. I know the S2 and Coupe have weaknesses, especially given the prices the Alloy cars rose to with the Supersport, but given it was done on the price of the central armrest design for my previous CL600 I figure it is quite astounding. If we can get the budget levels up to the cost of the LED light systems imagine what they could achieve.
I look forward to what they do plan and build next. I just want the badge to remain Morgan and the soul to be intact.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I agree Mike , and although much blame has been passed onto Charles Morgan , the people responsible for the day to day running of the factory are still incharge and some have recentlly been promoted to director level .
Perhaps it's time to bring in some new experienced people ?
I also agree about the badge and soul remaining Morgan , but that's not much help when you're standing at the side of the road in the rain waiting for Morgan Rescue ! ( Sadly I've had to use them 5 times in a year )
