I'm sitting in Margaret River right now, but directly after breakfast, we'll be leaving for north of Perth for the night, aiming for Canarvon, and onto Exmouth before turning around, leaving around thge 15th - 16th Dec.
Great trip so far, via Esperance, Albany and Augusta. Whilst I know that you've had a bit of heat in Perth, the weather down south has been unseasonably cool. A few years back we holidayed in Perth too - fabulous place. Hired a Landcruiser and drove up to Jurien on the very corrugated roads which were bumpy. Met a local in an Oka who was taking some tourists on an adventure so we followed him all the way back to Perth along the beach and up into the massive sand dunes, past Wedge Island, over miles of white sand and we never saw another road until we pretty much drove up a boat launch ramp in the city. My most awesome (almost) road trip ever!

And I thought you meant the original Perth, the geographical centre of Scotland! There is even a M3W dealer there.

What a coincidence, because we stayed at an "Inn" at Margs called the Admiral Sterling. How's that for a link? Did Caves Road and had the same thought about being a good MNorganing road.
Currently in Lancelin, a couple of miles north of Perth, stacks of off road dunes here. Sorry Donald, not Perth the centre of the universe.

That's on for the morning, thanks Richad, BTW, I'm sorry to all for the thread drift, perhaps I should start a new WA thread?

According to today's Daily Telegraph there are a raft of mods coming up for the M3W. 'The main revisions are aimed at curing the car of bump steer by correcting the steering geometry and these updates will also be available to existing owners as part of an after market “Comfort Pack” at additional cost.In addition there’s a new and more torsionally stiff chassis, an updated centre drive unit and sound isolation for the bevel box to decrease transmission noise.' It says existing owners wont get the tech mods for free but I wonder if we will get the extended warranty? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/car-...g-problems.html Tim

Can't help but feel sad for dealers when MMC pump press releases out to the mainstream press before telling them. Presumably, next Monday & Tuesdays international dealer meeting is the timing for them? And no media blast via facebook or twitter. Maybe they're all hiding over the sacking issues..
