Great views.

There are so many positive things about Morgans and a few downsides (sometimes very important) can cloud views, mine included.

I hope MMC can consider opinions and views and improve products and services. That can only benefit company and customer.

Some perspective.

The 3Wheeler keeps this forum lively. It is exciting and also has lots of problems, which means lots of subject lines! But only one involves a real threat to safety. A bad bevel box can't hurt you.

The front suspension impacts itself. Easy to confirm. Simply suspend the front of any made to date and work the suspension up and down. In practice, it can result in an palm numbing event to having a front wheel fly off, which happened with the media test car last year. One can minimize it by driving at modest speeds on smooth roads. The defect significantly shrinks the envelope one can explore safely. There has been no recall to date and Steve Morris states again there will be none even though the friendliest UK media insisted there should be one last year after the track test. The fix the Company tried then, using beefier components, did not stop them from hitting each other. Why would it? But Steve Morris states the issue is simply an inherent characteristic of his trikes, just as constantly cracking windscreens were for his 4/4s. There was no fault.

Happily, a few months ago, an American discovered the cause and an easy, inexpensive cure. He explained it both to Mr Morris, without result. He did the same here and was quickly banned from TM and the cure deleted. Instead, aftermarket sources and the Company have taken his solution, dressed it up and are using it as a new profit center from M3W owners. But still, officially there is no fault. Americans and America are now singled out by the Company by Mr. Morris...I assume because the fix was found there. In California. A spot where constant lovely weather produces the best road surfaces in the world. He asks the international public to believe that the American tush is vastly more delicate than all others. But one thing is a certainty. Over the course of its lifetime, every vehicle will eventually be pushed by some pilot, be it a future owner, a mate or your son. Yet the bottom line is that future M3W production will incorporate the American's cure (hopefully without new errors). Bravo! But still, officially there is no fault with the existing 3Wheelers.

Don't blame the moderators. They have again displayed their loyalty to each other and the Company. TalkMorgan is the factory's forum. Anything the moderators interpret or are instructed is prejudicial to Company interests will be met with their bold opposition. Simon will switch threads around to make them harder to find, Bohly will attack those who express worries and search for solutions, Aeroman will assure the world he has no problem with HIS (fill in whatever model is being questioned). People and key posts will disappear. Theirs is a previously unheard level of Morgan devotion. Owners used to be loyal to owners.

DanD, why not post under your original username? Or perhaps the three or four others you have used on this site?

I will not bother responding to your post because that is exactly what you seem to crave: attention. Now that you have closed your 'discussion' group, you appear to flit from discussion group to discussion group, voicing your opinion of Morgan Motor Company, under various usernames, and that is your prerogative. However, please be aware that having multiple log-ins is a breech of terms of use of this site - the same ones you agreed to each time you created an account.

Why not simple use the GoMog account you started with if you wanted to contribute to this forum?

Furthermore, Kevin Rivett was never banned - his account is still active and will remain so until he asks for it to be deleted. If you are going to attempt to sling mud, please get the facts correct.

I'll let people decide for themselves but the threads where you post multiple times, under different names, make for an interesting read.
