Yes the housing is bespoke but the spring assembly(for want of a better word) looks very similar. Of course it may be a screamin eagle unit already. Do you Know which unit is fitted?

I was going by what one of the factory guys told me when I watched him dismantling a compensator. He told me it was made especially for Morgan. Of course he could have meant the housing! I've some photos somewhere...I'll search them out.

Thanks
There is masses of info on Harley Compensators not being up to scratch. anyway would be interesting to know what the mods to the new Morgan unit are. I am hoping to get one of these new bevel box and compensators fitted under warranty.

Is that the unit with the rough welds inside and weighs a ton? Or the new aluminimum unit that also failed?

Coming to this thread a bit late, all the 2014 tweaks sound very nice but I want to know when are we going to get offered our superchargers? I hope they're going to look suitably gorgeous sticking out at the front like a Villiers on a blown Bentley. I've sent my letter to Santa ... Can't wait! waiting arr

Hi
It was 2012 unit that failed. Newer unit was fitted end October this year but now Have blue grease being thrown from bell housing and a small knock again. Bevel box has also given up the ghost but that was already on order so hopefully all will be sorted soon.
Bought the car privately but my local dealer ( Richard Thorne)has been very good.
