Anyone discovered a way yet ? I have only had it off three times ( fnar ) , and each time it caused much cursing and swearing before the clips went in properly , even then I am not convinced I did it properly ( fnar ?) Can anyone volunteer a procedure to do this that will stop me swearing and doing bad viz jokes?

Make sure the Dzus locks are fully retracted before removal or fitment. Still tricky tho ! Maybe some clever sup;lier will offer a hinge for one side and a works properly lock for the other ???

Anyone discovered a way yet ? No.Before being accused of being completely unhelpful it does actually get easier though stays fiddly at best. Some folk have fitted external catches which looks to be a good solution. The swearing is quite therapeutic though.

Hi Dave Y>Make sure the Dzus locks are fully retracted before removal or fitment Not easy ( darn impossible on your own I say ! )
I seem to get one fastener in quite easily , then as that has tensioned one side of the bonnet , the other side wont go in as there is no play left to jiggle ... so I undo the one that was in ok and repeat the above on all fasteners until I get bored then try later with a helper holding the fasteners on the other side out as I go round putting them in. I seem to have convinced myself it is a two man job ....

The Morgan 3 Wheeler...
In a nutshell, sometimes it makes you laugh and at other times it makes you swear. The important thing is that you should not cry in its presence.

I hate to say it but mine seems to be easy !
When putting it on I always make sure it's fitting correctly at the back edge , also as other people have said pull out all the fasteners , I always push in the back two first . Mine's been on/off lots of times so maybe it gets easier with practise or things loosen up a bit . So keep persevering !

HJP is right, plus the two front fasteners have little 'snap rings' that hold the inside washer away from the business end. Difficult to line up if the washer not held back. Mine disappeared and I fashioned new ones, but still a challenge.
