Thats true , as a young boy I spotted when on holiday the further we moved South the better the house yet the poorer the car ie. high quality house with an old car outside . When up North its the other way around I regular see £40K cars on a bit of a drive at the side of an old council house thats been purchased or not . As a child and today I can not help but think they have got it wrong the car devalues not the house . Its a fact a lot purchase the badge up here and it puts me off and part of the reason I purchased the mog ( its not well known )also why I liked the Bristol. The chap who does the MOT on the mog told me some horrid tales about cars that should be scrapped and so called fools risking lives. Hi Jack The Lad,
it doesn't need a BMW. Those people are dangerous even on a bicycle....

I call them the Green wellie brigade, Have BMW, Audi etc, posh wellies ... I think you're about 25 years out of date with that epithet! If you want to be up on this year's trend it would be the "transparent wellie with colourful wellie sock" brigade. ~iw

Yes Ian that's the sort we get in my village - and of late the "FAT" Mini seems very popular in the countwyside. I call them the Green wellie brigade, Have BMW, Audi etc, posh wellies ... I think you're about 25 years out of date with that epithet! If you want to be up on this year's trend it would be the "transparent wellie with colourful wellie sock" brigade. ~iw
