Anyway, interesting as they are these design studies - with the trad being a design classic, there is more chance of the BBC re commissioning "Jim l Fix It" Than MMC changing the existing design.
NEWSFLASH!
The BBC today announced that they will be making a new version of the hit TV show "Jim I Fix It"
A spokesperson for the BBC said "this decision will help the corporation "bounce back" following recent setbacks concerning alleged staffing misconduct and financial issues".
The news came following negotiations between the BBCs "Head of Light Perversion" and the BBCs "Controller of Perverts"
The spokesperson continued "A suitable presenter has yet to be chosen, but talent scouts are inviting suitable applicants from the sexual offenders register".
"The presenter will be selected via a new talent show called "Strictly X Factor".
"As a further treat and tribute to the famous "Top Of The Pops" dance acts "Pans People" and "Legs and Co" a new dance act will be created especially for the show".
"The name of the new dance act has yet to be confirmed, but the front runner so far is "Tits Up".

It would definitely work with a change to the "outside"front lights and by ditching the bling on the front of the wings -IMHO!!!

Sans all the lighting Bling I quite like the basic shape, as someone has said this is not a new image to a few of us.

Yes I agree with others. I don't like the headlights and the bling or the curved up running boards. However it does give a good idea of what a potential new Plus 4 Plus (or Plus 6 Plus) could look like. Put a soft top on it and it becomes that Drophead Coupe we discussed a while back.
I would fix the lights up, return to straight running boards and make the radiator grill a little narrower. I would also think about making the running boards and rear mudguards very narrow, say only 5 cm. Quite vestigial so as to maximise internal space.

I still like the DHC to me they carry a lot of style. Any bodywork can become very expensive though. This "idea" might lend itself well to a DHC conversion though, given the extra internal space you are creating Peter it could become a practical tourer
