I actually saw the Aeromin at Lifes a couple of weeks ago when I was there. Apparently it belongs to one of their customers who had it specially commissioned. I've got some pictures on my phone I will try to upload. The doors were specially made but the windows do not open at all so if you come up to a toll booth you either have to open the door or the sunroof to throw your money out! Apparently it takes about a day to take the roof off.

Roger,

how did you think it looked in the metal? It photographs well, but seeing is believing.

Non opening windows? I thought they has made them open.

Not good for ventilation! You would have thought that going to all the expense of having the roof done, they would have fitted some opening windows. Not a difficult job.

I think that is why they have a Webasto roof!

But you are right: if they couldn't manage opening windows then keeping the original doors with removable side screens might have been better...

The blokes who built it kept calling Mogs ( the Aeromin ) hence they did not get mine .

Doesn't do anything for me; in fact, I find it distinctly unattractive. The vehicle shown in the earlier TM topic was a far more resolved and attractive design to my eyes.

I think that the problem with this car is that the roof is removable so it a bit limited to its shape where is meets the body. The other cars shown are full body conversion...well they would be if they were real! Certainly the one based on the 4/4 Anniversary has the rear extended with different rear wings and that makes the whole thing flow a lot better. Oh for a spare garage and a rear damaged Morgan!! ( NOT Nero!!)
