I have the waterless coolant in my Vignale. I figured on the switch for when stuck in traffic as old cars don't seem to like being stationary.
I looked at the evans stuff but went for another brand that is a quarter of the price but seems the same stuff. Anyway, it does seem to do what it says on the tin. Hi Shooter. The Evans brand is the only one that I've seen in Perth. But if you found one that's less expensive but which carries the same result, go for it (as long as it does what it says on the tin...  ) The waterless coolant was originally envisaged for use in classic and collectors' cars so the Vignale fits the bill admirably. But I'll be using it in the more recent and current vehicles too.

Hi Shooter. Yes, I bought performance parts from Demon Tweeks many moons ago when I was still living in the UK so the name's very familiar to me.  I don't know anything about their high-performance coolant to comment on, but it looks reasonably good from their website. However, check out the Evans website ( www.evanscoolants.com) for comparison.  The Evans brand costs a little more; but it has an incredibly long life which really appeals to me. My own thought on this is "fit and forget" if you see what I mean... Happy New Year :xmascheers:

Well, they seem to be similar. I have a spare container of it for top ups and it talks of a 10 year lifespan.

Hi Shooter. If you're happy with what you have, stay with it.  Can you post a report on this thread with this new coolant already in your Mog? I like to hear about it. I already posted my results in a test car earlier on in this thread which I think you have already read...  As previously explained, I can only get the Evans product where I am [in Perth], so I have no option but to go with that. The service on my Mog is in March; so I've decided to wait until then to change the coolant - an economy of motion. No point booking the car in twice...

This sounds good Chris, I may put some of this in the 4 when I (If I get the time)replace the motor, as it will be perfectly free of water. Graeme, suggest you have the radiator professionally checked and tested, check the radiator hoses and put in a new thermostat before you commence filling the system with the flushing liquid. I did that with the test car and now I have peace of mind knowing that the system is sound! A little trouble now would save heaps later!
