Hello all morganians - I am new to this forum and have just been infected with the morgan virus ;-)
I am 51, married, no children, but a dog (jack russel).
The more I know about Morgans the more they are fascinating me. Unfortunately I have to share my sparetime this year with my also beloved motorboat (english Norman 20), but I am enthusiatically configuring my 4/4 that I hopefully will get until spring 2015 ;-)
This is my favorite configuration by now:
ivory body, wings in sand, interieur in saddle brown.
I guess a wooden steering wheel is a must.
Unfortunately I did not find out yet how to upload an image - maybe I can add this later.
Until my morgan will come to me, I will be reading a lot in this forum and enjoy the wunderful stories, photos and people.
I wish you a very lucky new year and many days with good weather for trips with your morgans.

Welcome Ralf! I've seen your configuration in the Gallery. I would advice: wooden steering wheel and wooden dash. In Germany you have also Kaufelt as a well-known supplier of (tailor-made) wooden dashes for Morgans. Just have a look!

The car configuration sounds great though personally I prefer a leather rim wheel.

Welcome Ralf. I've seen your configuration and like the colour combination. I'd perhaps consider the dark brown leather ....Mocha, I think it is, as an option. Will you go for a black roof or dark brown? As far as steering wheel is concerned, I prefer the wood rim for looks but the leather rim for comfort with its thicker rim. Williams Morgan have a thicker rimmed riveted wood rim Motalita wheel which looks good and has the comfort of a thicker grip.

I would suggest a moto-lita wheel and the wonderful boards made by Mathias Kauffelt. Very beautiful and affordable. Best of luck with Your new car. I am very happy with mine, which I bought "off the rack" with no waiting. You canīt get all You want then but I quite like my Royal Ivory/Mulberry/red hood combination of my new plus 8.
