Thanks for posting that Gerry. I enjoyed the clip, even tho' I found some of the commentary a bit crass. There's some great footage of some fabulous cars. And as Chris Harris says, "only in Italy...."

I remember watching that a few years ago. He came across as a rather petulant guy too taken up by his own "celebrity" status and i thought him a total w*****r. I have seen him in a recent program driving some classic racing cars and actually he wasn't a bad driver and clearly obsessed with cars...perhaps reaction to his first programme changed him?

It's a shame to spend 850k GBP and to break down during the first stage.  If I would try sometimes to make that dream come true, I could spend maybe a tenth of this budget. I have looked at Jaguar XK 120 (coupe is cheaper than the roadster), AC Aceca (AC engined) or Austin-Healey 100. I think with those cars I could spend "only" a tenth of his budget for such an event Don't you know, if any Morgan is eligible for MM?
