I'm surprised its hung around so long.....the interior is stunning; in fact the whole car is stunning.

I would tend to agree. Had I not been looking to use the car as my daily drive I would have probably purchased it if the current price was involved. It is low milage and a beautiful spec.

87k for an Aeromax. Ok its not the best colour, and the interior isn't to most peoples tastes but its almost worth buying and re trimming it....

Like the Hammond Max, I don't think it has been presented in the best possible manner. Whilst it has sat up for sale I know of another car that changed hand privately for considerably more; granted it was a more universally appealing colour combination but it still makes me believe the Stratstone car is very good value.
I do know two people who have called about it were told it has been sold, so again, I don't understand what the situation is!
As an aside, there is a Max for sale in Germany... yours for Euro 170,000.00

It's true that the interior colour is a bit off the wall - but I don't dislike it. It would seem a shame to me to retrim it as the unusual spec is an integral part of the car's Paul O'Grady history.

The colour is considerably better in the flesh/leather than in the public photos. When I phoned a few months back it was most certainly for sale but they were playing hardball about the price which took it off my list. The car is only worth what the person is willing to pay for it and no more. It is not in truth a sellers market.

I've tried and I don't think the price will move this is reflected in how long they've held the car, with spring not far off I don't think they'll give this one easily

They'll be a few people kicking themselves when this one sells. Scroll forward 12-months and it will be one of those "why didn't I buy it" cars.
As I've long said, the Hammond car set a false expectation of price - notice the Euro prices and yet the ratio of RHD to LHD was over 1/4, so there is more supply.
