Well, I'll be keeping an eye open for your solution. And boy, that engine bay looks full.

There is, as our US friends are supposed to say,no substitute for cubic inches.

The Roadster V6 motor is relatively light, much lighter than the Rover V8 and sits well back. It has well chosen transmission ratios, at least for road use, that make it a pleasure to drive.

Just no where to store anything under the bonnet!

Hmm! Apparently the Roadster is a bit de-tuned

Do Morgan Classics come with a large tool tray? Where did they hide that?

No, just a small plastic tray...........under the wood behind the seats.

You will have a carpeted shelf behind the seats.
The carpet has two popper stubs to the rear and on each side of the shelf.
Un popper these studs and lift the carpet up and forward.
You will see a plywood shelf with a hand cut ring on the front edge, this is to secure the shelf.
Move the ring round until it is clear of the shelf. Lift the shelf out and voila there should be the tool tray, complete with jack and wheel removing spanner.

I actually quite like mine.

You might put a tool roll or box into the front end of the passenger footwell (right word?).

And sell it to ahem the co-pilot as a brand new footrest.

This is what we do. Jack and hammer in the under bonnet toolbox, small toolkit in a zip case behind the drivers seat, and the touring toolkit in a box at the front of the passenger footwell, doubling up as a footrest.

I had an alloy rally footrest in my 4/4......my passenger was a tad short and it stopped her from sliding forward under braking! The beauty of that was that you could store stuff under it...its triangular in construction and a tool roll would fit in front of it as well. I may need to refit it to the Roadster for my short-arse passenger who is coming with me to the Le Mans Classic....otherwise I can see me losing him under hard braking at the end of the Mulsanne Straight!
