At least I see that mine was not the only one with the lazy switch :-)

Did you get the switch cleaned or replaced?

I brought it to an auto electrician and he put in a new one. They are cheap enough; but it's the inconvenience caused. smile Now the passenger window works as it should...

cheers

This is pretty common and I'm sorry I missed the thread the first time.

I've had the micro switches replaced twice on my Aero. They don't seem very robust and therefore if the reset (lowering the window using the power switch, then raising it to the full position and holding the switch in the engaged position for 10-seconds before releasing) doesn't work, then it is invariably the micro switch that needs cleaning or replacing.

Hey - no probs! smile Now that we know what it is, we can take that as the second course of action should the resetting procedure fail.

Yes, it was me.
I was trying to understand how to access those screws.

Ciao Ale

Those screws are accessed from the inside of the car and not from the underside. I remember jacking the car up and checking from underneath, and also removing the trim panel from the inside; but can't exactly recall how I approached it. Well, after mulling over what I did for the past few days, it all then came back to me! smile

Good luck cheers

Hella instructions that MadMax kindly emailed me.

May I dream that in MMC they found a new supplier for those switches to be fit on the Aero 8 MKV and that it can be retrofit to the "old" AeroMax/SS/coupe?
