I must have forgotten about this during the winter as I was quite surprised to see a substantial spray of gas from the left side of the cross over hose this Sunday. I started the beast up standing outside the car and it was obvious where it came from. Never managed to catch it before.
Two "real" hose clamps later and the problem is solved. A fantastic day out with sun and temperatures in excess of 10 degrees C. Grinfluenza!

call up your dealer. i had the same issue with mine and it appears that there might be some QC issues with some of the fuel rails that S&S fitted. S&S got a new fuel rail to me lickety split. problem solved. be sure to also ask that a new set of o-rings get included with the fuel rail as my new one didn't include them and one of my existing ones had a tear in it. fortunately the guy doing the work on my trike was an s&s dealer and was able to salvage an o-ring from another kit.
long story short, this is a know issue so morgan/s&s will resolve it quite quickly if your car is affected by it.

Hi Blake! I feel stupid, but what is a fuel rail? Pictures, if possible. My problem was the rubber hose under the heat shield, the one going across, if that makes sense. At least thatīs what i think it was.
Quite a scary sight, with a tiny fountain of gas pointing forward. Just lucky I spotted it.
My dealer is no longer an official dealer. The closest one is several hours away. My silver arrow will be trailered down there for a bunch of warranty work and some upgrades. Steering, definitely.

Same side, same place. I think the hose clamp is the culprit. Or...?

surprisingly i don't think it was the hose clamp as it might be where the tolerances of the nipple that the hose connects on to and where it then screws in to the other bit. S&S sent a whole new full assembled fuel rail setup for both sides which leads me to believe it was something more like a bad batch vs something that was loose like a hose clamp. again, total speculation but either way morgan and s&s was crazy responsive to getting it sorted. i reached out to them and told them about the gas smell and the subsequent drive where a tiny bit of fuel drops had gotten on the windscreen (there was about a week or two where i had the gas smell but no noticeable fuel spray/drops on the windscreen) and they asked me to take a couple pics of the fuel rail setup and after i emailed them they knew exactly what it was as the bits of dried fuel and dirt surrounding it was the give away. 3 days later i had a new fuel rail system delivered. Same side, same place. I think the hose clamp is the culprit. Or...?
