I'll be doing the mudguard mod soon.

Can it all be done from the top or do you need to get underneath?

it can be done from the top. but its a lot easyer if you got a lift! that and how good equiped your shop is. so i did it with the morgan mechanic at theyr shop. i am a trained blacksmith and metalworker, but at home i do not have all the tools and machines.

Hmm - I'd be doing it on a sloping driveway outdoors.

Maybe I'll have a word with my dealer and see if they could help out.

Chris, do it yourself, it's really easy, and you will get satisfaction from doing a good job.

BTW, I used a rear bracket screwed to the wooden frame, it's easier and simpler.

chris, do not get me wrong! paulj is right. the reason i did it at the dealers shop was, because i had to do several modifications. in exemple the comfort steering thing, i could not do it at home by my self. the mudguard job can be done at home, of course. takes a little bit longer, but its simple to do.

Perhaps this should be a factory mounted option?

Chris

Assuming you are using the alloy deflector mounting at the front you will need access underneath to refit the two bolts. I raised the rear with a wooden block ramp only about 100mm but higher would be better.

I did mine without a lift , just had to lay flat on the floor at times to fit the factory mudguard bolts back on. All the rest from above.
