Hey Brian, how did you get Paul to perform for you there?? Didn't know he did private forum performances...

Funny you should mention it, but we are one of the principal sponsors of the Caledonian Society here and this weekend is the Chieftain's Ball. So we have a band out from Scotland, as we do for the other two Cally events each year: St. Andrew's and Burn's Night. wine

If the English could get together and resurrect the 'do' for St. George's night, then Paul's our man. thumbs

Getting back to the topic somestick slap

Welcome Colin and Maximus the dog. Why did you call it Maximus? Was it something to do with Gladiator (a certain Mr Morgans favourite film... hence)?

I think I might know the previous owner of your car.

Anyway welcome again to the true faith of Aero... the S1 roses

Back again in between pub lunch and lawn cutting....soon to jet off to tropics with the rest of you!

Dog was called Maximus after Gladiator film, he's a Bernese Mountain dog so seemed fitting since he's a big lad.

Thanks for changing the name over Simon.

Colb2 was Pistonhead reference as given above.

I would be interested in that Exhaust system on your lovely car Matt. Saw and heard it at Allon White...seems we only missed each other by a day!......although I would say I'm not dissappointed with the standard exhaust which has an air of style about it....but I do like V8 rumble. I have a modified Pantera that sounds just glorious and made the ex-Aston sound like a wet fart in a bean can.....despite the rave reviews about Aston noise :>)

It's fine... I have no problems, the car is often out and about, just completing some winter jobs on it right now...hopefully all done by other side of this weekend.

Seeing Matt comes from Bristol...you may have seen the car before Matt at the Italian Bristol car show that's held April each year. I was there last year in the line-up......usual hang-out is Goodwood though with the club boys.
