You should use the batt cut off / isolation switch under the bonnet on Aero's this will stop the batt from draining

Best to use a conditioner. Always use one of these and you will say goodbye to the problem of flat batteries.

Meanwhile I read again the user manual. It seems that the jacking point is between the front wheels (if I got it right).
Since I do not have the jack up tool, if anybody is so kind to post a picture of the one provided with the car, I'd appreciate it. Use the diff housing at the rear and the cross member between the wheels at the front. You will need a low racing type trolly jack and support the chassis with axle stands as soon as the wheels are off the ground. This works fine for me.

Use battery conditioners. Its the only way! Welcome to TM folks. As for jacking - let a mechanic do that. Use tyre foam if you get a flat, you don't have a spare wheel anyway  As others have said - trolley jack is the right way though if you have to.

I have to say that after one year I never had the need of raising it.
@Deano: do you remember which trolley jack did you buy?
The one I have at home it's obviously too high.
At least, if I decide to buy a new one, I'll take the right one.

I feel for all you "Aero" types, no king pins to lubricate. Deprived of that essential bonding with your ride. What were they thinking?
Seriously, if the battery goes flat after less than 3 months then Morgan has not specified the correct battery to go with the BMW electronics.
According to a friend who works for a BMW dealership all BMWs are supposed to be able to be started, assuming a fully charged battery, after 3 months parked. Seemingly this is to ensure BMW owners can take a reasonable vacation.

It's a little more complex than that Peter. Because of the way Morgan has adapted the BMW CAN bus electronic control systems for the Aeros, there are some circuits which stay 'live' even when the ignition is off. These will place a residual drain on the battery. (Max owners will be aware of the always-on rear glass release light for example). It's true that the standard-fit Banner batteries are not the best and an Exide Gel battery has made a huge difference. But the best remedies are - as others have posted - to always use a trickle-charger and if this is not possible use the inertia cut-out switch to isolate the electrics.

At least, if I decide to buy a new one, I'll take the right one. It's a 2T aluminium trolly jack from UK supplier Machine Mart. They have a good website, take a look. I am sure other suppliers also sell similar.
