Seriously, if the battery goes flat after less than 3 months then Morgan has not specified the correct battery to go with the BMW electronics.
It's a little more complex than that Peter. Because of the way Morgan has adapted the BMW CAN bus electronic control systems for the Aeros, there are some circuits which stay 'live' even when the ignition is off. These will place a residual drain on the battery. (Max owners will be aware of the always-on rear glass release light for example). I thought there must be more to it. Always on circuits are not exactly helpful. The trials and tribulations of software controlled cars.... I'll just go and polish my grease gun!

I bought this one a couple of years ago. Not from this site and significantly cheaper. Costco have them occasionally. http://www.motorsport-tools.com/arcan-ra...ium-18-ton.html

Is that low and long enough for an Aero model?

My guess it's imported from China as is much of Machine Mart's kit, so if you do an Internet search I am sure you will find something similar. Or you could email Machine Mart and ask if they will ship to you.

There's another way around the low jack issue.
Before you raise it drive front wheels onto some timber planks. I in fact do this, in spite of jack being low, since it makes it easier to put the spreader plate in the correct position.
Cheers
