Why?the chrome is a hassel to keep shiny & your fed up with it discolouring? Or you want a change & a different look?whats the reason?

Well done Rufus. How about the badge bar? Never seen one like yours. And tell me about the clock above your wheel. One last question. Am I to assume that your black pipes are different than other black pipes that exit Morgan? Your ceramic version are not part of the Morgan plan.

Q8, the reason I want black pipes is to offer a degree of colour contrast against my beige coloured paintwork, nothing else, I would rather keep them polished really, but I feel they don't look as nice. I've already had my heat shields powder coated satin black and they look good, [to my jaundiced eye anyway!]

The black ceramic coating is a Morgan option. I don't recall what that call it, but when I inquired, I knew it was the same as JET HOT in the US. Seemed expensive, but it's zero maintenance, and my pipes run cool to the touch at the heat shields of the mufflers, no matter how long the trip.
The badge bar is something I made on the lathe. It bolts onto the two number plate screws in the front of the frame I re mounted the voltage regulator horizontally on a piece of aluminum bar stock, and eliminated the spools. It doesn't heat and doesn't shake where it's located. Works fine now.
The clock is a quartz movement from a free rubber strap watch, held by a Velcro dot. I didn't realize there is one already on the dash, when you click the rubber button on the directional wand. Actually, there are quite a few meters you can scroll thru with that rubber button.

The leather is the dark brown, sort of Espresso, and it's the top row, second from left on the bespoke leather chart on the M3 W web site..don't know the name.
No spacer is used my 16.5" Lempert wheel, but it is .250 thick, which keeps it firm as an assist handle getting out.
A simple steering wheel spacer could be made with 6 somewhat longer screws thru the wheel flange, kept tight to the wheel by 6 nuts. Then insert these 6 screws into the quick release hub, using nuts on each side of each screw.
It's like using screws as stand offs, and some extra nuts as keepers.
Nearly zero cost vs a true spacer, and it's adjustable within the length of the screws selected.
