If your going to go 2.0 Simon, it's only 200cc up on your present engine. You might be better off going the whole hog and aiming for a 2.5...

Actually, there is not much wrong with Stanley's Zetec engine, (as a few members of this site have found out. ) However the gearbox is a fairly rudimentary affair in comparison with the latest Mazda 'boxes. Also I do like the narrow body/wings & the narrower, deeper section tyres of the 4/4 (along with painted wires); IMHO they gives the vehicle a "classic" look.

I haven't had my zetec 4/4 long enough to judge it's performance yet, but I'm more than happy for you to experiment with yours on my behalf!
