Never thought I'd see the Morgan " grounded " in the garage for a whole week because of the weather, an event you guys in the Northern hemisphere seem to frequently suffer.

But today it was below 40 Celcius ...that's right, down to a cool 31 happy3 .........only needed to pop up the road to the hardware store...........just couldn't deny her the run!

Was in the store and a guy came up to me...........as they do, and as we love!

" is that your Morgan?"

" Yes"

" Been to England 3 times in the last few years and each time when visting Westminster Abbey, saw a Morgan parked outside, filthy dirty, covered in leaves with what looked like some sort of infringement notice on the screen...............same car each time...........thought you might be interested............I named my son Morgan you know"

And with that he departed! confused......nutcase?.........urban myth? ...Grain of truth?

Anyone throw any light?

Gee......must make the posts shorter and more frequent. Still under 500!

cheers
Neil.

We could start with a process of elimination, it would not belong to JTL, nor several other members of the TM community, not when you mention the words Morgan and Dirty in the same sentence. innocent

I have not had a duster on it since last year its getting to me. Even dreaming of a nogging last night , must be totally gone as I bought the drinks and it was coffee. See I'm no good without a duster in my hand. Thinking of getting a tee shirt made from them just to keep me normal .

I am in Yormog and in the early to mid 90s a mog owner was trying to get near the side of God via a vicar who once owned a mog . It was an ancient church near Thirsk ( Leake ) on the A19 . The vicar was going to bless the cars and all that stuff they do so this mog owner told all Yormog . We turned up and no one from the mog club arrived but us . Rolls by the score its was a look at us lot. I spoke to the vicar who was a right snob even though he had owned a mog he showed no interest in strangers just the old brigade who put money in his box the more money the more he liked you and I thought God had different ideas .
I told him I was atheist but my wife was not , they all marched off into the church . I looked around the cars and sitting in a Roller was a disabled boy left by his parents as they had gone in to church . It disgusted me deeply that a father could leave his child and disabled , the thoughts " me first Lord " turned my stomach .
I spoke to the young lad and asked did he wish to go into church . "Yes please " can you help me with your wheel , "Yes " . I went into the Rolls boot pulled it out and with the young lads help put it together .Lifted the lad from the car to the chair and pushed him to the church door .
It was stuck fast try as I did it refused to open and no help from inside , I stepped back and used my foot it sprang open . I wheeled the young lad in heads turning then down to the front where the vicar was standing past the people asked if he was OK he was smiling , that was good enough for me. Turned and walked out in disgust . I was ready to go to war with the vicar and the boys father . What went wrong with THE MEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH or had they all forgotten . It still disgusts me to this day in one sence yet fills me with a warmth that I can't explain that I was able to help and give from my heart help to a disabled child and no I had not gone soft .
