Hello,

I have a new set of compensator-bevel box- hub installed and experience that car is very difficult to push around by hand but also when engine is running freewheel friction on neutral seems excessive (car stops quickly).
has anyone seen this? Should i care about it or is it only a running-in issue?
Also have a loud tapping sound front passenger side.
Appreciate any comment or suggestions.

I still have the original compensator etc. on mine so I can't comment from direct experience but that doesn't sound right to me .

Does the gearbox select crunch free all forward and reverse gears when stationary and the engine running?

My 2p is on clutch drag - I presume it's hydraulic, so try a re-bleed before getting excited.

Compensator ought to be irrelevant here.

Possibly belt is way too tight, could also simply be that the handbrake is binding slightly if it was left on for a while.
