When do you think it will be up on the DR site?
We will try and get it all written and edited to publish on the site by Tuesday, but there's a lot of material and it may be necessary to wait until the end of next week. I'd rather we captured the best bits rather than rush it through.
It's a shame I couldn't join you all today (I was too busy collecting my X6), but Chris enjoyed meeting you and we feel that we've got a really rounded story to publish. The best we've captured thus far.
Both Richard who drove it yesterday, and Chris loved the Aeromax despite its idiosyncrasies. Charles mentioned that the car we had on test was a pre-production model and a little baggy compared to customer cars, but there was still such a sense of occasion driving it. Passers by are really drawn to it.
The Aeromax seems pricey, especially compared to the Aero8, but we ended up concluding that it was meaningless to compare it to other cars in its price range. You want an Aeromax not because its better than a Porsche 997 Turbo, but in many ways because its NOT a 997 Turbo. Morgan is a great institution of modern motoring and thoroughly deserves to thrive as the last independent British sports car marque.
It's been fun doing this feature, so thanks for everyone's input and I hope you like what we end up producing. It might really be worth creating an longer-edit DVD in future.
