This metal fuel line has to be rerouted? When installing the nvh?

I really need all the new upgrades

Q8 - Sorry , I am not qualified to answer any of these questions properly.
I am lucky enough to be able to point my car at the dealer and request the job be done, which I realise you cannot so you have my sympathy.
Best I can do is take any photos you request.
One hint I can pass on is the NVH job required the fuel lines to be routed UNDER the floor pan for a very short distance. I was warned about this by my dealers mechanic - as I regularly have to go up a farm track so requested a shield be made to cover them.
So this re routing involving draining fuel lines etc may be a good reason why this one will be a dealer only job.
The steering job I suspect is pretty easy , bar the realignment afterwards.
The fan job looks surprisingly complicated - lots of cabling and rerouting of existing things.
Sorry to sound vague but I have only had my car back one evening and seen it for less than 30mins - we had a major storm going on at the same time !!!

Hi q8
I will take pics of the job tomorrow, but I can't answer your further questions , this was work all done by the factory , I was not present. All I knew was I was warned it would be a consequence of the nvh bevel box job, and I requested sometthing should be done to protect the fuel lines. The solution has been a neat cover to protect the lines at this vulnerable point. I am happy with this, and over the moon with the transformation the mod has had on the car.

You sound well pleased nippymog (Graham). Hope to get out with you soon, but still got this plenty decorating to get done before the sunshine returns....

Picked it up weds and have so far only driven it the two miles to my house due to this foul weather, but even in that short drive I could tell it had been transformed for the better. Today is looking promising though......here comes the sun.....

Austin mate you must live in a mansion ! , it seems like you have been decorating for weeks / months? Only joshing, I hate decorating and spin it out hoping the Mrs will finish it smile
Really looking forward to our planned trips , first one is not long now so you need to get off the computer and find that paintbrush smile
Graham.

Pics of the underside as promised, not very exciting I am afraid. Just returned back from a 100 mile trip this afternoon.

To say I am ecstatic with the mods is an understatement. I was gliding over bumps in the road that would have been boneshakers before , comfortable and with confidence doing 80 on dual carriage ways , in 30 limits pottering along in 4th at 2000 rpm good as gold. I dont believe it is any more powerful , but I personally was not expecting that, although have now got confidence with more speed the natural consequence is to want more power. I highly recommend all three mods and the compensator.

This is a view from front to back of the underside , in the distance is the clean new black metalwork of the NVH bracket. In the middleground , with the dip in the centre, is the new coverplate for the fuel pipes , as described above.

Another closer shot of the coverplate, pipes visible above.
I will lift the boot plate in the week and see whats visible there.
Q8 - Hope this helps.
