----I guess I'm feeling a little foolish about this post with all you "kids" out there. I will be 80 years old on May 31st of this year. Sigh! When I realized that pushing a dead BSA I didn't want to leave on the side of the road I realized it was time for a change, hence the M3W. Plus, as an old time "gear head" I've been having a ball working on the car, moving the peddle box, installing a fire extinguisher, first oil change and thus and such. You would think I should act more my "age" (some people have suggested this), but I'm having too much fun for that.
hbatts, you are my idol! I'm not worthy... All kidding aside, I think that's great.
When I built my workshop back in ’94, my dad gave me a lot of help; he was 82 at the time. He got up on the roof and help me shingle as well as doing some of the vinyl siding. My neighbor asked me one night how old my dad was and he about fainted when I told him his age. My dad was still bow hunting into his early 90’s. He had to quit climbing into his tree blind in his mid 80’s and my brother built him a nice ground blind with all the hunting amenities one would need.
I hope to still be able to do what you’re doing at your age. I see so many people in their 70’s that look like they have one foot in the grave and standing on a banana peel with the other foot. I’m 64 and my brother is 71. He’s still going strong with his bass boat fishing every week in the summer. He’s restoring a ’51 Chevy coupe right now, but he does get a little impatient when things don’t go right.

Your a credit to your age group, my mother will be 79 this year and was stopped last week doing 60 mph in a 50, plod let her off due to age and driving a 911 c4s with the roof down in mid winter
Very much in the dog house, could be up for rehoming
Mutley that just goes to prove that the the "revhead" gene is passed from the parents.
I think I inherited it too. As a kid I remember sitting in my mum's car and watching the speedo creep towards 100 mph. She also got pulled up in one day and got a let off when she smiled at the cop and told him that it was really difficult to keep the car under 60. At that time in NSW the "unrestricted" limit was supposed to be 50mph. Mind you she was only in her mid 30's then and pretty good looking.
I certainly hope I am still cabable of driving a sports car when I am 80. Congratulations to both your mother and hbats.
Thanks everybody. Somebody told me one time the "Old Age" is a "Figment of the Imagination". I promise to keep three wheeling till I can't get in and out any more
