I installed the new 280mm unit from cip1 yesterday. Big improvement. Looking inside the tank when installing I guessed 50% full. Gauge read 46% when installed.

Went for long ride of about 50 miles and gauge seemed to go down in 1-2% increments which is a big improvement. Original gauge would have been reading close to 0.

Good modification.

Are we now sure that 280mm is the way forward?

Q8 - when you fit it be very careful threading and tightening the bolts as it is very easy to strip the threads in the tank. One of my bolts had been over tightened by the factory and was spinning.
