Agreed Dave, John & Peter, in standard form 160bhp is, as you say, the likely output, and a possible contender for the "revised" Plus 4, who knows? If so, this would still be a useful increase on the current 145bhp, and probably more tractable.
The ~200bhp unit Nputtick posted (i.e. with the throttle bodies) would be a smashing unit in Plus 4 body though, with great a power to weight ratio, and would be relatively good value... I thought.

Agreed, but why stick with a fbw pedal if you go for throttle bodies? The spec sheet says that a mechanical option is available - then you get rid of another layer of interference between the driver and engine response?
TwoTribes, I do get your point, but in my past experience with cable operated throttle bodies vs the fly-by-wire equivalents is that the cable type can be a bit sticky in use and more temperamental to set up. Comparatively, I feel that servo motor operated throttles tend to be smoother in operation, and provided they aren't unduly modulated via traction control units, your right foot is still in control
Essentially I think it is very similar to the Mazda motor fitted to the Plus 4 SS therefore one could expect a tuning kit that would give it the same output as the Plus 4 SS to be fairly easy to achieve.
Remember the dyno chart that Aero Racing had for the SS?
If it is a naturally aspirated 2.0 engine I guess it's the Madza MX5 2.0 engine with variable intake cam. That is basically the Supersports engine without throttle bodies etc. A 200hp could be better but if it would be a charged ecoboost engine you could sacrife instant throttle response.
If my suggestion turns out to be right do I get a prize? The 2.0 L Ti VCT GDi Engine has been available in US spec Focuses for a couple of years so is well proven. Seems an ideal choice at 160 bhp in standard trim and easy upgrades. The direct injection means that throttle bodies if fitted are very short, plenty of room for air filters.
