I think it is great but would only trust my M3W to a trailer with 4 wheels.
I use a modified motorcycle trailer with only 2 wheels and have absolutely no qualms about doing so. The M3W is still only a half ton.
A covered trailer would be nice to have...
I've seen too many caravans in matchsticks to run only a single axled trailer. It's entirely possible on both, but I'm with Donaldosaurus on this one I'm afraid.
Better stability, better load carrying through lighter footprint & less calamity if one of the tyres goes. Just peace of mind really I guess.
Of course, the ideal would be a converted Plaxton 52 seater with a hatch at the back, liveried to match the M3W. Could have rock star luxury inside with hot & cold running etc.
