The Hiccups were very minor ie a screw short in kit and Instructions missing.
Both were brought very quickly to my attention by S&S themselves.
Instructions sent by e-mail and replacement screw found in my tool box. Slightly more bothersome was the metric cap screws holding on the old backing plate in an imperial threaded hole!!! Luckily enough of correct thread left to hold the new correct screws
Otherwise it was an easy DIY job You seem to have played a useful role in the product development process.

I have copied the ECU data as was , then reset all the adaptive maps. After a wee while driving I will be able to compare before and after adaptive graphs to see what has changed. What software and interface lead do you use to monitor the ECU settings if you don't mind me asking? I am familiar with the software I need for Fiat and Audi (FiatECUScan and VAG-Com respectively), but they both require OBD2 leads, which I don't think fit the Morgan. Is there a link to a software and lead set for the S&S ECU do you know? Thanks.

The M3W has a S&S ECU unit ( Variable Fuel Injection ) and the Protune software is available on their website for download.
There is a comprehensive manual too
The VFI unit has a standard cell phone "d" shaped socket ( sorry cant recall the proper name but it is obvious when you see it)
I used my cell phone cable which connects to the PC
The VFI unit is underneath the fuses and the socket is protected by a plate with two very small (easily lost!)screws

I would believe that the kit is now available. The S&S numbers are at beginning of thread. The key point is to advise that it is for the X-Wedge motor
I have the "Muscle" cover retained by two "hood pins".
There are other choices of cover which are interchangable once you have the Stealth plates and filter installed

I am within an hour's drive of an S & S agent. He has quoted 146.78€ for the Stealth Air Cleaner and 89.75€ for the chrome Muscle Bullet cover, plus VAT in each case.
Ouch!
