Great point about the electronic memory loss.will it happen if we disconnect the battery?
how can we update the ecu if needed at home?

I disconnect the battery regularly as I've not got power in the garage for a battery conditioner.
On reconnection it's fine, no loss of trip or mileage data but the clock does need to be reset.

The fuel sender circuit is not powered when the ignition is off. There fore, I did not disconnect the battery.

Recommend Eurospares too - v good service:)
No need to disconnect battery - but take precautions - ignition off - and disconnect positive first /connect neg/earth first when fitting etc - usual good practice stuff:))
