Nice find - it should be added to the bibliography that was posted a while back; perhaps that should be made a sticky....

This book contains a fantastic quote (Page 9) from "Autocar" - "in the fifties".

"You must get used to being jolted hard over every bump in a way that would not have escaped unfavourable comment, even before the last war".

And that, my friends for me is the whole point of wanting and having a traditional Morgan! grin2

I gave that book as a christmas gift to my dad when it was new many years ago. He is dead now so the book is mine now.

Dad never bought a Morgan, but i have just entered the world of Classic Morgan.
Back when i bought the book i had no intention of getting a Morgan, but after different, been there done that sports cars, the seed from back then must have changed me.

I very nearly treated myself to this one at Christmas:
It's a compilation of press adverts.

But the auction ended while I was at work, and I forgot about it. That one sold for under a tenner. There are a couple of others on e-bay at £29.99, but I found one on Amazon at £17.00, so in I went!
Printed in 1984 by Blandford Press. ISBN 07137 1370 4.
This one is in really good condition for the age.

News to me - must keep an eye out and I think we need a "reading" list...
