Michael, have to say I'm not sure I really like the look of that. While I understand it is function over form or aesthetics, it does look a little odd on the Aero.

Do you have any pictures taken from a distance, perhaps I need to see it in a larger context with the entire car in view?

What I will also say is the Aero cabin actually seems to keep pretty warm and I don't notice a lot of wind buffeting (and I'm 6'3). Even my wife found it comfortable with the roof down when we did the pub run in November and she's the first to feel the cold.

Having already seen an Aero with it fitted, I'm afraid that I have to agree with you. To me, they look fine on Benz's and similar, but don't look right on traditional English sportscars like an Aero.

In any case, we haven't found the back-draught too intrusive even in very cold-weather. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I had the same concerns with its look but it is not that bad in real life, and it pops out in no time so it is not a problem.

I tried my car at 90mph on a certain bit of road with it and without and beleive me the improvement with was well worth it.

I know you can put on a good jacket and hat but I feel too restricted when driving with bulky jackets.

I will post some full view shots soon, as with most things in life close ups are not always flattering.

I find at low speeds the Aero is pretty good but at higher speeds back draught is a problem as on most cars.

If it adds to your enjoyment of the car being that bit warmer then excellent! Dosn't look so bad. I'm used to a covered in back int he else, but in the sl theres absolutly nothing behind, so used to that two. Dosn't bother me too much and if it's that cold i'll probably have the hard top on anyway <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'm more than a little precious about my Aero <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> and can even remember a time when I had previous cabriolets and hated to drive them with the side windows up as I felt it ruined the lines of the car (slightly OCD perhaps?!? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> ), so I'm hardly a fair litmus test! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rofl.gif" alt="" />

However, as mentioned previously, I find the cabin of the Aero very good and must say in terms of design, the front screen seems to be at a good rake to avoid excess current coming into the passenger compartment.

Will look forward to seeing some distance shots.

Here is a longer shot with windstop fitted. I think for winter use it looks better than driving with the roof up and dressed like a Micelin Man, but summer use without.

Quick update, set off today with roof down and no windbreak to Slimbridge WFT, did not get out of Cheltenham before stoping to put up the roof as it was too cold <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />.

Windbreak now refitted for the rest of the winter top down driving.
